Learnings from Goa

The following are some learnings from my Goa trip (Feb 2011) courtesy Channel V (I think I should start watching it... :P) :

1) Lawyers sleep in, dentists stop for breakfast, engineers leave late and get there on time!

2) Sand reflects ultraviolet light.

3) Delhi girls have a serious inferiority complex.

4) In 5-star hotels, whatever is outside the refrigerator is free! :P

5) Most white people are incredibly fat.

6) There are some soaps which have actual sugar crystals.

7) Cavelossim beach has sands of 2 colors.

8) The staff in 5-star hotels is very nice, very courteous and appear to love their jobs. :-)

9) In Goa, no matter where you go, you eventually end up at a water body.

10) The government of Goa pays special attention to aesthetics.

11) Fenny on the beach is dirt cheap... and tastes like that too. But with enough Sprite, it tastes awesome.

12) Cashewnut fenny is smother and has a better flavour than coconut (palm) fenny.

13) One can do pretty much everything with cashewnut fenny that one can do with vodka.

14) VJ Juhi is pretty!

15) Mohit Chauhan and his band/troop are amazing! Especially the flautist.

16) Goa has a World Heritage structure - the Basilica of Bom Jesus.
